Is a pet/sales agreement required?
Yes, all buyers sign a pet/sales agreement, a legal document protecting both parties and recording sales for our taxed cattery. Pet-only buyers must provide proof of spaying/neutering. Unauthorized breeding results in legal action in Henderson, NV.
Can I return my kitten after a few weeks or months due to behavior changes, allergies, or litter box issues?
No, we do not accept returns or refunds for these reasons. Once a kitten is in your home, it is your responsibility. Behavior changes may result from mistreatment, neglect, or environmental factors, such as unfixed cats causing aggression or marking. Ensure all other pets are spayed or neutered before adopting to improve your kitten’s relationship with you and other pets. When it comes to allergies, please get tested before inquiring. We do not accept kitten/cat returns due to an allergy being developed. Every cat breed produces an allergen called Fel d 4. This is produced in the salivary glands, which can transfer onto a cat fur when a cat is grooming themself. Be careful of breeders saying they have hypo-allergenic breed, there is no cat breed that exists that is hypo-allergenic.
Are your kittens free?
No, our kittens are not free, nor do we exchange them for influencer sponsorships or shoutouts.
Can I visit kittens in-person before deciding to adopt?
Yes, we welcome visits from serious inquiries at our home-based cattery, by appointment only. We show only available kittens; reserved kittens are off-limits. For safety, our property has surveillance cameras.
What comes with the kitten at pickup?
Kittens come with a pet go-home folder containing the pet/sales agreement, breed care articles, a Trupanion insurance info packet, recommended foods, supplements, vet records, TICA registration paperwork, and FELV/FIV test results. We include a pet carrier, pet pad, and a goodie kitten bag of treats, toys, supplement samples and food (wet/dry). Kittens receive their first FVRCP shot and deworming; subsequent rounds are your responsibility.
When should I spay/neuter my kitten?
We recommend spaying/neutering at 5–6 months or 5 pounds, per your vet’s advice, and before seven months to prevent territorial behavior or marking. This promotes a calmer, loving demeanor. Pet-only buyers must provide proof of spaying/neutering, or unauthorized breeding may lead to legal action.
Are your Scottish Folds bred with other Scottish Folds?
No, we breed Scottish Folds with British Shorthair studs to maintain their unique look and ear folds while prioritizing health. Breeding Scottish Folds with other Scottish Folds or Scottish Straights is unethical due to risks of deformities or health issues. TICA and CFA recommend pairing Scottish Folds with British or American Shorthairs, which we follow to ensure healthy kittens.
What breeds do you raise?
We raise Scottish Folds and British Shorthairs, primarily shorthairs, though longhair kittens are occasionally born. As a small cattery, we produce limited litters annually, prioritizing health. Kitten colors vary, and we appreciate your patience for available kittens.
Do you offer breeding rights?
Breeding rights are available to non-Nevada residents for an additional $3,000, including breeding, showing, and pet rights. You must be TICA-registered with at least two prior litters. We prefer to work with licensed breeders over hobby/back yard breeders. Local residents may discuss higher-cost breeding rights. Pet-only kittens must be spayed/neutered per our contract, or unauthorized breeding results in legal action.
Are your cats healthy and tested?
Yes, we annually test our breeding cats to ensure they produce healthy offspring. Cats not meeting health standards are removed from our program and are up-to-date on vaccines.
Do you have a waiting list for kittens?
Check our website for available kittens. If none are available, you can join our waiting list for future litters. Contact us with questions or requests.
Do you deliver kittens out-of-state?
